Submitting fertiliser samples
Sample guidelines - solid fertilisers:

  • Sample size: 1 kg (unless otherwise specified); for bulk density testing, 4–5 kg
  • Containers: Clean, sealable, moisture-resistant containers; avoid lightweight takeaway-style containers
  • Sampling: Use D-tubes, PVC tubes, sampling buckets, screens, or riffle splitters
  • Labelling: Clearly indicate product type, sample ID, and sample date

Chain of custody
A completed chain of custody form must accompany each fertiliser submission.
Forms can be sent with the fertiliser sample or emailed to lab.feedback@incitecpivot.com.au.
