Submitting fertiliser samples
Sample guidelines - solid fertilisers:
- Sample size: 1 kg (unless otherwise specified); for bulk density testing, 4–5 kg
- Containers: Clean, sealable, moisture-resistant containers; avoid lightweight takeaway-style containers
- Sampling: Use D-tubes, PVC tubes, sampling buckets, screens, or riffle splitters
- Labelling: Clearly indicate product type, sample ID, and sample date
